Alexandria Little League is announcing a new initiative this spring:
FRIDAY NIGHTS UNDER THE LIGHTS! Come cheer on ALL teams who will take the field at Little Simpson every Friday Night, 7:00 pm. Concessions open. First game is April 12 featuring 2 Minors division teams. Check the calendar for the full game schedule.

Let the fun begin! ALL's Opening Day is April 6 8:30-10:00 am at Little Simpson. Fun includes a player parade, donuts, and getting outfitted for the season with an equipment swap and merch table!

Coaches Lacey and Kenzee are offering ALL's first Little League Softball pitching clinic! We are excited to see these players grow in their abilities and confidence this season.

ALL hosted a parents meeting on March 12, including a workshop with Positive Coaching Alliance. We can enhance players' positive experiences in sports by avoiding coaching from the sidelines, not engaging players in post-game analysis on the ride home from the field, and learning to embrace (and even celebrate) mistakes and failures. Thanks, PCA!

This week we held a 90 minute workshop with Positive Coaching Alliance speaker Hiro Rodriguez called Positive Motivation: Getting the Best from Athletes. It featured the importance of positive coaching not only to improve skills but to process life lessons available through sport.

ALL will be training umpires, 14 and over, for softball and baseball on March 10 from 11-1. If you or your child is interested in becoming an umpire for ALL, please click the Become an Umpire tab on the ALL website, and fill out the umpire interest form.
